4 THE INTERIOR JOURNAL, August 16, 1990 Obituaries Gary Elmore Gary Elmore, 44, formerly of Mckinney, died Friday, August 10 in Dayton, Ohio. Survivors include his former wife, Kathy Elmore of Williamsburg, daughter Tina Kennedy, and four sons: Larry, Dewayne and Daniel all of Williamsburg and son, Garrett, of Boston, MA. He is also survived by his mother, Beatrice Criswell; stepfather, Charles Criswell; father, Frank Elmore of Viola Ethel Viola Ethel Denney, age 79, of Crab Orchard died Monday, August 6, 1990, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. She was born September 8, 1910 in Lincoln County to the late George Denney and Rebecca Brown Denney. She was a housewife and a member of the Mt.

Zion Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Naylor, one daughter, Beatrice Hodge and her husband, John Denney. Survivors include a son, Charles Ray Denney of Crab Orchard; four daughters, Doris Rose Parson, Lan- McKinney, two brothers: Tim Elmore of McKinney and Ricky Elmore of Kings Mountain; two sisters: Rita Shannon of Danville and Debra Owens of Green River. Other survivors include 2 grandchildren, 10 nieces and nephews and one great nephew. Funeral services will be held at 272 North Lansdown Drive in Dayton, OH at 2:00 pm Thursday, August 16.

Denney caster, Betty Saylor and Eva Eggersman, both of Crab Orchard and Alice Katherine Dunaway, Hartwell, OH; a sister, Beatrice Bell, Lockland, OH; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were held Thursday, August 9 at Martin 'Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Belknap and Bro. Keith Bender officiating. Burial was in the Friendship Cemetery.

Pallbearers were grandsons: Keith Saylor, Danny Saylor, Larry Eggersman, Bobby Naylor, David Naylor and Kenneth Naylor. Martin Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements. Elsie Mae "Toots" Luncford Elsie Mae "Toots" Luncford, 61, of Detroit, MI, formerly of Pulaski County, died Monday, August 6. A native of Pulaski County, she was born July 21, 1929 to Leslie and Lucy Collins. She was a restaurant waitress and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Preston Luncford; a son, James Irvin Caudill; three daughters, Susan Ra- chel Dissmore, Joyce Faye Letson and Marie Kay Hudgins; a brother, Bud Collins; four sisters, Vernice Valentine, Violet Padgett, Josephine Tracey and Elizabeth Pardon. Funeral services were held Thursday, August 9, 1990 at the Barnett and Demrow Funeral Home in Waynesburg. Burial was in the Double Springs Cemetery. Marvin Malcolm Bastin Marvin Malcolm Bastin, 79, of 215 Cut Off Street in Stanford, died Friday, August 10, at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

A native of Hart County, KY, he was born October 22, 1910 to Alfred Amos and L'auna Fancher Bastin. He was a retired of Bastin's Discount Stores, a deacon and member of the Stanford Baptist Church, an active member of Gideons International, and a former director of the Stanford-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce. Survivors include his wife, Violet Asbury Bastin, Stanford; two sons, Michael Bastin, Stanford, and Randy Bastin, Falmouth, KY; four daughters, Shirley Seube, Glasgow, KY, Van Munford and Judy May of Stan- ford, and Doris Pardee of Harrodsburg, KY; a brother, Garland Bastin, Lexington, KY; 13 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 12, 1990 at Stanford Baptist Church with Rev. Vola Brown, Rev.

Elmore Ray, and Rev. Larry Burcham officiating. Burial was in Houk Cemetery in Metcalfe KY. Fox Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers were Timothy Pardee, Mickey Pardee, Rodney Munford, Jason May, Nicholas Bastin and Joshua Bastin.

Memorials are preferred to Gideons International. Melvin Conley Melvin Conley, 68, of 1500 Carman Lane, Stanford, died Saturday, August 11 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. A native of McGoffin KY, he was born March 14, 1922 to Lewis Edward and Leona Caudill Conley. He was the former owner of Conley Real Estate and Auction Company, a former employee of Corning Glass, a former member of Dix River Board of Realtors, past president of Central Kentucky Angus Association and a member of the Willow Grove Baptist Church.

Bro. Sam Bartlett, and family were recent visitors of Agatha McGirr, and visited the Moreland United Methodist Church. Sam was pastor for several years of the church.
